Artist's Description
This one was for my sister. Cambria has always been a favorite family vacation spot and I wanted to capture the beauty of the cypress trees while the sun was setting. The beauty and atmosphere of the Central Coast is enchanting and I always find inspiration there.
About Ian Donley
I grew up in Ventura, California where I spent most of my time at the beach. I was a lifeguard for 13 years on the beaches of Ventura and Carpinteria. I've always been attracted to the water and the beauty of nature. I've been an amateur photographer for many years. A few years ago, I moved to the Portland, Oregon area with my wife and kids and it was there that I was inspired to begin painting. Currently we live in the Ventura area and I continue to paint.
